(Business) Controller

At ExRobotics, we design and build explosion-proof autonomous robots that make hazardous environments safer. As we continue to scale our production and commercial activities, having strong financial insight and control becomes essential. That’s why we are looking for a Controller to strengthen our finance team, and support smart, data-driven decision-making across the company.

As Controller, you are the financial backbone of the organization and a trusted business partner to management, production, and sales. You ensure accurate financial administration and reporting, while translating numbers into clear insights that help steer the business. From monthly closings and forecasts to margin analyses and business cases, your work directly impacts how ExRobotics grows.

You’ll work closely with a small finance team and collaborate daily with colleagues from Operations, Production, and Sales in a fast-growing, hands-on, and innovative environment—where your input truly matters and your impact is visible.

What you’ll be doing

• Financial admin and month-end closing

• Manage and coach the finance team, preparing monthly reports, budgets and forecasts

• Monitor, analyze and report liquidity and working capital

• Analyze financial performance, KPI’s and deviations

• Monitor and report on subsidies and grants

• Perform cost, margin and return analyses

• Business partner with production and sales, improving our ERP setup.

Contract: Permanent from day one, with a two-month trial period

Education: Minimum HBO in (Bachelor/Master) in Finance, Controlling or Bedrijfseconomie 

Experience: At least 2 years of hand-on, relevant work experience
Skills: Strong analytical and business-oriented mindset, Hands-on, independent and strong communication skills
Languages: Excellent reading and writing skills in Dutch and English
‍Location: You live within 50 km of Delft, and in posession of drivers license B
‍Mindset: You are eager to learn and thrive in a dynammic and innovative environment
‍Work Authorization: You must already have a permanent work permit for the Netherlands. We are not able to sponsor visas.
